3 SAMA EASTBOURNE STUDENTS ACHIEVE BLACKBELTS

Congratulations to Christopher Blackman aged 15 and Alistair Home aged 14 for passing their SAMA karate Black belts! Also congratulations to Andy White for passing his SAMA kickboxing blackbelt! d
All 3 students were sent to the black belt test by Sensei which is held in Worthing and as you can imagine is extremley hard!

Christopher and Alistair have both been training for over 8 years in various classes in the Eastbourne area and Andy has been training for over 10 years under Sensei Gibson and Sempai Harford who have both put a lot of effort into their training.

They all put in 100% effort on the grade and reached the required high standard to pass. They were awarded their black belts by Hanshi the SAMA Organisation chief Instructor on 05/04/09. This story was also featured in the Eastbourne Herald
SAMA STUDENTS RAISE £500 FOR THE SOLLOMON ANDAL TRUST

SAMA Eastbourne, Hastings & St Leonards students helped raise £500 for the Sollomon Andal Trust. Below is the article taken from the Eastbourne Herald on 19th December 2008
Pictured left are Sollomon, his mum Sharon and his elder brother Zaccariah along with some of the students from our Saturday morning class at Hampden Park Sports centre receiving the cheque for £500 from Head area instructor Sensei Lee Gibson.
