SAMA Organisation is now the largest individual Martial Arts club in the U.K, with 10,000 members training weekly in Karate and

Kickboxing. First established in 1978 by our Chief Instructor Hanshi Alan Gibson 8th Dan in Brighton. SAMA over the years

has expanded throughout the whole of East and West Sussex as well as spreading into Hampshire, Surrey, Kent and Dorset.

SAMA Organisation is made up of over 75 Male and Female professional full time and part time Instructors that teach

thousands of children and adults each week in Schools, Community Halls and Leisure Centres accross the South.

ISAMA Organisation is headed by Chief Instructor Hanshi Gibson 8th Dan. With over 50 years karate experience and 30 years kickboxing experience along with great knowledge in other styles of martial arts he is regarded as one of the top martial artist in the world today. If

ISensei Lee Gibson 3rd Dan is the head area instructor for Eastbourne. Sensei Gibson has been training since the age of 3 years old.
He is trained by his father, the chief Instructor of SAMA Organisation Hanshi Gibson whom he admits is his role model within martial
arts and someone who he has great admiration and respect for. Sensei is lucky enough to be able to train with Hanshi every day and
believes you should lead by example so puts 100% into his training. Sensei has trained in Japan, competed in many karate tournaments all over Britain, shown his skills at demonstrations in Britain and France and is undefeated in 7 pro full contact kickboxing fights and
will be fighting in the ring again soon. He has also trained in other styles such as judo, Kobudo, K1 and BJJ.

Sempai Liam O'Hara is a 2nd Dan black belt instructor teaching classes within the Bexhill, Hastings and Eastbourne areas.

Sempai Liam has been training with SAMA for over 15 years. As soon as he acheived his black belt at the age of 11 he began

helping at various classes within the Brighton area. Now an experienced full time instructor he teaches both children's and adult's

karate and kickboxing classes. Sempai Liam has competed in karate tournaments as well as full contact kickboxing in the ring.

He continues to train hard every day and is a popular instructor amoungst his students

 

 

 

 

 

ISempai Matt Harford 1st Dan is the assistant instructor for Eastbourne. As soon as he passed his black belt at the age of 14 he 

began helping out in clsses and at gradings to gain as much experience as he could. Sempai Harford is now a full time instructor

under Sensei Gibson and teaches karate and kickboxing lessons every day of the week. Sempai has been training for over

14 years and continues to train hard every day

 

 

 

 

Christopher, Stephanie and Alistair are all blackbelt youth class assistants. They help in many classes throughout the week

to help them gain teaching knowlege and experience and hopefully one day they will become SAMA instructors themselves.

They also help at gradings in Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings

Andy is a blackbelt kickboxing instructor for SAMA Eastbourne. He is trained by Sensei Lee Gibson and has also been trained by
Hanshi Gibson, the chief instructor of SAMA. With over 15 years experience in kickboxing Andy is a great addition to our Eastbourne instructors. Andy has had many full contact kickboxing fights in the ring and has also trained in K1 and MMA. Andy teaches adults
and kids kickboxing classes at Hampden Park sports centre. Andy and his classes are extremely popular amoungst his students.
Andy trains on weights everyday along with his kickboxing and other martial arts training this keeps him in fighting shape.

 Anton is a blackbelt kickboxing instructor for SAMA Eastbourne. He is trained by Sensei Lee Gibson and Sempai Matt Harford.
Anton has over 6 years experience in kickboxing with SAMA. He has recently started teaching adults kickboxing classes at
West Rise School sports hall and has quickly become a popular instructor receiving high praise from his students. 
Anton continues to work hard at his own kickboxing training throughout the week to keep him keep in great shape.
