
We base our karate on the older traditional roots of Chinese philosophy and Okinawan karate where good etiquette, health, self-defence and the discipline of body, mind & spirit are important factors within our training. The style we teach is Wado-Ryu karate. The philosophy of Traditional Karate to strengthen the spirit train the heart, mind and body to never give up


Many older martial artists have shown to still possess youthful physical strength, fitness, mental ability, flexibility, coordination and agility.
Recent research on the combined mental and physical side of correct martial art training along with a healthy life style concluded that it could help to counteract the deterioration of the mind & body, helping to fight premature ageing

There is no need to pre-book, just come along about 15 minutes prior to the start time of your chosen class to fill out a simple medical registration form. Dress in suitable clothing for exercising. All other equipment is provided.
